My Show Review "Voxxy Vallejo is, perhaps, the best band in Tacoma...what more can I say?" If you were at their intimate performance at Hells Kitchen on Thursday night, you were bestowed a soul piercing delight only they can deliver. Voxxy belts out the blues and Gene Vallejo is on guitar. Together they take you on a journey from the deep Mississippi south to the rockin' '60s...in one performance. Comparing Voxxy's vocals to Janis Joplin wouldn't be fair, this woman has found a way to channel her voice, and intensity, on stage...and Gene Vallejo's guitar playing is worshipping her talent in every way possible! Listen carefully to me...in this lifetime...you must see Voxxy Vallejo.
