2010 repost of original 2002 post
UPDATED - Jan. 2- 2002
Solaris is incredibly unique and
dashing. He seems very healthy and
is quite a large rat. He has a very
mellow personality and is quite a
happy and well adjusted.
Currently, he lives with OFR Phili Jr.
Solaris has not produced any
tri-colored rats. He has produced
only two-tone rats, like Apollo above.
He was bred with OFR Moona II and
they produced a myriad of colored
babies from beige, champagne, mink
and black with many blazes, head
spots and other markings.
Interestingly, the babies also had the
two tone colors, as their heads
showed two tones in contrast with
darker colored dorsal markings. It is
in my best opinion, that Solaris is
probably the only rat of his kind.
