Watch Out For...THE MISSIONARY POSITION
Beltin' out the dirty Blues in the Northwest
BAND REVIEW
I followed this band a couple years ago, but shamefully haven't seen them play
for quite a while. But on November 4th, I finally caught them at a Thursday at Hells
Kitchen in Tacoma and G damn, I'm glad I did. Sit back, sip a whiskey and
transport to the deep south on a hot day.
Frontman, Jeff Angell's voice is as smooth as fine-chocolate. Meeting up with him
a year before, he said he considered himself a writer and wholeheartedly I'd agree,
but a writer of captivating erotic lyrics that linger with you after long after closing
time. Equally important, is the ambiance Benjamin Anderson adds to the
performance while playing keys. Poised behind his keyboard in front of the
audience, Anderson adds darkly textured tones to the dirty blues.
If you haven't seen this band...hell, even if you see them every weekend, go out
and catch them again! They're worth it!

shreds his guitar and belts out vocals that'll make your face
flush...or is it that whiskey you're been drinking?
