SPAR Dakota, Black straight-coated Harley-coated rat.
UK Black-eyed Siamese & Burmese Rats Fact: Black-eyed Siamese (BES) and Burmese colored rats were imported into the USA from England in 2004. We flew to England in Jan. 2005 & brought them back to the Northwest. Red-eyed Siamese & Himalayan shaded rats are often born in the same litters as Burmese.
OFR Hershell, Dumbo-eared, Burmese curly Harley-coated male. Hershell was born in 2005. He is as huggable as he is cute!
Dwarf Rats MAKE Great Pocket Pets! One third to half of the size of full-sized rats, the puppy-like personality of dwarf rats make them our favorite. If you don't have room for larger animals, a pair or trio of dwarf rats can fit into hamster cages! They have good health! Scientists say they have a extreamly reduced rate of mammary cancer. We started our line in mid-2003 from two rare dwarf rats from CA. Our dwarf rats became champion exhibition animals and prized pets. Though still rare, they can be found in ratterys in the USA.
Dumbo Hairless Rat
Australian Down Under Rats Fact: Australian Down Under rats were imported into the USA by Connie Perez in Dec. 2002. We were the first rattery in the Northwest to breed them. Now they are available in many states across the USA!
Long Hair or Harley Coated Rats! Fact: We discovered these beautiful rats in mid-2002! The first one was named Harley. It's believed that the longer wispier coat is caused by a new recessive mutation. These guys are very gentle natured.
HAIRLESS RATS! Fact: The health and temperament of hairless rats vary around the United States. Some hairless females fail to lactate or produce enough milk for their babies. Hairless rats need a little more warmth, food and water than standard rats.
